What behaviors hurt the engine most when using a car?

1. Step on the accelerator as soon as you start

The lower the temperature, the worse the fluidity of the engine oil. In addition, most of the engine oil flows back to the oil pan after the car is parked for a period of time, so the lubrication condition is poor at the initial stage of cold start. At this time, stepping too high a speed is really not good for the engine. But how high is it? You can't get rid of everyone by saying "avoid excessive speed". However, the engine characteristics of various vehicles are different, and the viscosity of the engine oil used is different in different regions, so it is really difficult to elaborate on this problem. In summer, engine oil has good fluidity, so it should be no problem for self-priming engine to run within 3000 rpm. In winter, it depends on the temperature, and it should be no problem to keep the weather below zero safely below 2500. If it is in the northeast of Xinjiang and Inner Mongolia, it can reach tens of degrees below zero in winter, and some engine oils are estimated to be mushy. In this case, I suggest you warm up your car in place and don't step on the accelerator.

2. Add bad oil to the car indiscriminately

I seldom refuel at small gas stations because I really don't know the quality of oil. Gasoline itself is a mixture of many kinds of substances, its composition is extremely complex, and it is not as pure as water, so it is difficult for you to judge its quality from the senses. Moreover, some engines are not so picky about food. After adding inferior oil, it may not go wrong for a while, but it is hard to say in the long run.

3. Clean the fuel injection nozzle while driving

This can only clean the inside of the nozzle, but the carbon deposit on the nozzle cannot be cleaned. There is a great hidden danger if the cleaning agent with unknown composition is directly burned into the engine. First of all, the dosage can't be grasped, and the cleaning agent is extremely soluble. If it is sprayed too much, will it destroy the oil film on the cylinder wall? Will combustion products of cleaning agents damage oxygen sensors and three-way catalytic converters? These are unknowns. Therefore, the simplest, reliable and effective way to clean the nozzle is to take it down and wash it seriously, and don't try too advanced technology easily.

4. No thermostat installed

If the thermostat is not installed, the water temperature of the engine will be low. If the water temperature is low, the ECU will inject more oil, which will not only cost oil, but also lead to the problems of carbon deposition and emission caused by incomplete combustion.

5. Think that you care about oil and ignore the oil filter

The manufacturer suggested changing the engine oil once every 5000 kilometers. You bought a big brand of long-acting engine oil and prepared to change it once every 10000 kilometers. It's no big question to do so

But please choose a better oil filter. Some car owners buy hundreds of oil online, but the oil filter uses three products, which it's not maintenance, it's poisoning the engine. 

6. Passing a certain depth of water at high speed

7. Flush the engine with a high-pressure gun

The engine can be flushed, but the correct method should be mastered. With so many sensors, so many plugs and so many boxes on the engine, who knows which one will get water in. Usually, when you go to wash your car, basically no car wash shop will clean the engine compartment for you. 8. Do not change the spark plug
