Electronic ignition system has many advantages, such as high ignition voltage and ignition energy, little influence by engine working conditions and using conditions, simple structure, small mass, small volume, good high-speed performance, accurate ignition time, reliable operation, small maintenance and adjustment workload, fuel saving and pollution reduction, etc.

Microcomputer controlled ignition system. Microcomputer-controlled ignition system means that the microcomputer controls the on-off of primary current according to the signals input by various sensors through mathematical operation and logical judgment, so as to realize the change of secondary voltage and realize ignition. Microcomputer controlled ignition system is widely used in cars at present.

Intelligent control of ignition system. Intelligent control ignition system uses bus technology to realize intelligent control of ignition system, which can intelligently adjust ignition time and ignition energy according to the needs of engine working conditions and realize optimal ignition.

Ignition time should be adapted to the working conditions of the engine. The ignition system shall be ignited according to the working sequence of the engine. Ignition must be carried out at the most favorable moment. Because it takes a certain time for the mixture to burn in the cylinder, the mixture should not be ignited at the TDC of the compression stroke, but should be properly advanced, so that when the piston reaches TDC, the mixture has been fully burned, thus enabling the engine to obtain higher power.
